Join AmeriCorps interpretive staff and Whidbey Audubon volunteers for a morning bird walk to discover some of the common, and not so common, species of birds which call the park home. These bird walks are a great opportunity for birders of all levels. You will practice bird identification skills, learn about unique bird habitats, and learn from other birders. We recommend you bring your own binoculars and/or scopes, but will have a few on hand to borrow. Meet at the south end of the West Beach parking lot near Cranberry Lake at 10AM.
Duration: 2 hours
Location: Cranberry Lake and West Beach
Pre-registration is not required for this event.
