The Cornet Bay Fireplace was built by members of the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. It is used year-round by groups staying at the Cornet Bay Retreat Center for marshmallow roasting, campfire sing-alongs and even a number of weddings. Over the years, this structure has begun to deteriorate. Professional restoration work is needed to ensure that the Cornet Bay Fireplace structure is around for future generations to enjoy.
