Good morning,
It is hard to believe March is already here and Spring is in the air.
We wanted to let you know about the additional volunteer opportunities that are now available in the VicNet portal for you to choose from.
- The campground cleanup is still a work in progress and could use some additional assistance in order to get the area ready for visitors.
- The admin building could use a few volunteers to help with weeding and pruning, and
- The Lake Store will be in need of a few volunteers to help with the setup at the end of the month, as well as volunteers to help with stocking, as well as volunteer at the store once it opens.
I have attached an up-to-date job description and flyer for these projects. This may help you decide which area you would be interested in helping with during this month.
As always, trail maintenance and beach maintenance are also a great way to get out and support the park. Now would be a good time to dust off those hiking shoes, grab a mask, a bottle of water and start enjoying the sunshine.
Our volunteers are “The Heart of the Park”, and we couldn’t do it without you.
